I’m exited to share a sneak peak of one of Rage’s coolest iPad app opportunities. I previously posted some of my work for the iRealty project here. Below is a teaser for our plans to bring the service to the iPad. This serves as an amazing medium to deliver real estate MLS info to agents on the go. We’re looking to begin development very soon!
VIEWERS look forward to the commercials shown during a Super Bowl because they know the spots will almost always be different from — and better than — the everyday ads they typically deride or ignore. For Super Bowl XLIV on Sunday, the anticipation may be more keen than usual.
“I can’t wait to watch,” said Steve McKee, president at McKee Wallwork Cleveland, an agency in Albuquerque, N.M., that for the 10th year is sponsoring a Web site, adbowl.com, where consumers can vote for their favorite commercials. For 2010, the agency is adding an Adbowl application for the iPhone.
Cowbell2010, available on iTunes for 99 cents, turns an iPhone or an iPod Touch into a virtual cowbell, ringing loudly when the phone is shaken or the screen tapped. The cowbell on the screen is wrapped in the flag of the country of your choice, which also determines the menu language.
The cowbell is a tradition in Alpine skiing, where fans bring them to the slopes to signal support for skiers, mittened hands being rather limited in their noise-making ability.
The app also includes an event schedule, medal counts and live Twitter feeds from more than 200 Olympic athletes, according to the app’s developer.
Surely, Christopher Walken and Will Ferrell would approve.
This is a iPad promo design I did for the Rage Digital website (http://ragedigi.com). Rage has several clients interested in fitting the platform into their digital and mobile efforts. We’re really looking forward to adapting our current iPhone apps to the device as well as exploring new opportunities that come because of it!

- A virtual, working, national flag-emblazoned cowbell - Twitter feed that follows hundreds of athlete tweets - Real-time medal tally by country - Live Wall to share photos and texts of your experience with your friends on Facebook and other Cowbell2010 users around the world
