I’m proud to post my Dad is having a show opening for his Tumblr series Photo of the Day. After encouraging him to start a blog and be more active online he decided to start the series. It’s turned out to be a huge success for him to take his 30 years of photographic experience to the web to promote himself.
The show is tonight at 6pm at the Trestle Gallery in Downtown Colorado Springs.

My Dad, Tom Kimmell, has been a professional photographer for over 25 years. When I was younger he spent some time working for the local newspaper, The Gazzette in Colorado Springs. As a freelancer he’s found himself on adverntures all over the world. Along with the launch of a new site this year (http://www.tomkimmellphotography.com/) he started a Photo of The Day tumblr blog. Originally inspired by my younger brothers failed attempt last year, he’s done an awesome job so far. Every photo is taken that day. Pretty awesome!
