I’ve been down in St. Martin most of the week enjoying the sun and relaxing. It’s my first time staying at a beach front house which has been amazing. It kinda has that same intangible feeling that ski in ski out gives you but even better.
Looking forward to getting back on the grind. Lots of exciting projects coming up!

The readiness of mobile devices coupled with the ability to shoot HD video have made quality filmmaking possible for anyone. Documenting travel has been the focus of my attempts at producing video conent. After the first mobile vid on a Japan trip I found these awesome lenses from Photojojo that added a lot to the shots. My second iPhone 4 video documents the street level view of a recent trip to Shanghai, China.

We had a great trip out to CES last weekend! Sphero was a huge hit. Hyundai was showing off their Blue Link system and even had the Equus app commercial playing! We’ll leave the official reporting to the pros but here are some photos. Happy to be back in Boulder.

I’m getting pretty excited to get out to CES this year! The rumors are flying as always. Lots of new tablets and other hardware expected. One area I’m excited about is the smartphone controlled consumer products arena.
Rage Digital and myself recently had a chance to work with Orbotix to design the Sphero app which will be officially announced at this years show. Wired’s Gadget Lab has even challenged Gizmodo to a Sphero Marble Madness face off! (via Feld Thoughts)

I’ll be spending the rest of this week down in San Diego at the web development firm Digital Telepathy. My good friend and fellow designer Dan Trenkner was nice enough to have me over to their co-working space. Digital Telepathy produces some of the best UI and web experiences around. They have a couple cool internal projects as well, Slidedeck, an awesome slideshow plugin and the soon to launch Hello bar. Thanks DT! Really cool space…
